Netherlands: Fourth suspect arrested for Hague apartment building explosion that killed six


The police arrested a fourth suspect for possible involvement in the devastating explosion on the Tarwekamp in The Hague on Saturday. Police would only say that the man “may have been involved in the explosion” that left six people dead, and four others hospitalized.

He was taken into custody on Wednesday night, and more arrests are still possible. Police said that they turned their attention to the fourth suspect after three other men were arrested just before midnight on Monday. All four suspects are in restricted custody, which means that they are only allowed contact with their lawyers. The three men arrested on Monday will be brought before an examining magistrate on Friday for an initial hearing.
