Michigan: Bomb squad responds to drug bust after Cass County police find homemade explosive device


Two adults were arrested in a southwest Michigan drug bust where police found a homemade bomb and a “large amount” of Methamphetamine.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant Friday, Nov. 20, in the 70000 block of Irving Drive in Ontwa Township, according to a news release issued by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival, police detained a 44-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman and began to search the premise, according to the release.
