A Central Massachusetts man was arrested Thursday after police discovered nine explosive devices in his car during a planned traffic stop, authorities said.
Police had begun investigating the man, Jason E. Baldarelli, Jr., 27, of Princeton, after a witness reported explosions near his Wheeler Road home, according to the Princeton Police Department. The witness called police to the area around 4 a.m. Monday. During an initial investigation, Princeton Police Officer Douglas Costa identified Baldarelli as the suspected source of the explosions, the department said.
