Massachusetts authorities investigate ‘suspicious’ fires at Tesla charging stations


Authorities in Littleton, Massachusetts, have launched an investigation into fires at a Tesla charging station that they deem “suspicious.”

According to a news release, members of the local police and fire departments responded to the blaze at a shopping center on Monday around 1 p.m. The Littleton Electric Light & Water Department was also called to shut down the power. Littleton is about 35 miles from Boston. At the scene, officials discovered “several Tesla charging stations were engulfed in flames and heavy, dark smoke.” Seven stations underwent fire-related damage.
