Germany once again allocates 95.000 Euros to support Mine Victims in BiH


The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Thomas Fitschen signed an agreement yesterday with the local non-governmental organization “Mine Detection Dog Center” (MDDC) on the provision of funds in the amount of 95,000 euros for victims of mines in BiH.

As part of the embassy’s humanitarian project, the German Embassy in Sarajevo provided support for a total of 16 victims of landmines in BiH.

With this project, 16 landmine victims can receive help with the most modern leg prostheses this year. The aim of the program is to enable mine victims to lead a life without difficulty and pain, that is to enable them to reintegrate into the work process. In order to achieve this goal, the German Embassy established cooperation with the MDDC.
