Explosives found in central Mumbai where excavation work was under way

Explosives were found in Mumbai central area where excavation was underway for metro work.

Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad (BDDS) was summoned and the explosives were retrieved from the debris.

Local police said the explosives were crude bombs and they were diffused by BDDS and the area was secured. The diffused bombs will be sent to a forensic laboratory to check the chemicals used.
