An alert over unexploded ordnance led police to seal off a Shropshire car park on Wednesday.
A 30-metre cordon was set up around the Leek Street car park in Wem, where the device was situated, West Mercia Police had said. At 20:30 BST, the force said Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers attended and moved the device to a safe location, where they conducted a controlled explosion.

Police were called to the scene after construction workers found the shell while digging on the site off Artillery Road, in Park Hall, at around 1pm on Tuesday.
