On Thursday, August 22, the authorities reported an emergency in the municipality of Samaniego, Nariño, after the strong explosion of a motorcycle bomb that left several injured and great material damage.
According to preliminary information from the authorities, the attack was apparently directed against a police station that is close to the scene of the events. The explosion of the device left, according to local authorities, at least two people injured and several damages to vehicles, structures and electricity in the area, near the Sol Andino park.
