At least three civilians including a child were killed in an explosion triggered an improvised explosive device in southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan.
Provincial Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan in a statement said the incident has taken place in the vicinity of Daman district.
He said an improvised explosive device which was planted on a roadside went off leaving three civilians dead including two men and a child.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident but Gen. Tadin Khan blames Taliban for the incident.
