Cambodia and Thailand have agreed to launch a pilot humanitarian demining operation along their shared border, the Cambodian Ministry of National Defence said Friday.
The Cambodia–Thailand Joint Coordinating Task Force (JCTF) selected a site in Ou Bei Choan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, opposite Nonmak Moon commune in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo province, according to ministry spokeswoman Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata.
