Police in Preah Vihear province in collaboration with the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC)’s demining unit on Sunday removed 100 unexploded ordnances [UXOs] which were found buried in a villager’s farm at the Cambodian-Thai-Border in Choam Ksan district.
Choam Ksan district deputy police chief, Major Mao Vann said that about 11am on Sunday, a farmer in Choam Ksan commune was clearing his land located in a former military camp in the 1980s when he stumbled upon many unexploded bombs and mines buried in the ground.
