British Columbia: Cops find homemade bomb in Kamloops


An RCMP bomb squad was called to a North Kamloops apartment last week after the discovery of what appeared to be a homemade bomb.

According to police, on Friday at about 4 p.m., Mounties responded to the 300-block of Tranquille Road for a report of an unwanted guest who refused to leave an apartment unit.

Police said they discovered the suspect allegedly had a homemade bomb and guns present in the apartment.
