Calera Police Chief David Hyche said a person is facing charges of possession of destructive devices and DUI after two suspected improvised explosive devices were found in a vehicle on I-65.
Wesley Edwards Mills has been formally charged with felony DUI, open container, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession, and manufacture, transportation, and distribution of destructive devices. The Florida resident is currently at the Shelby County Detention Center on $46,300 bond, according to police.
