Afghan National Police defused 11 IEDs across Afghanistan; Prevented destruction of transmission tower in Baghlan province


ANP bomb disposal unit discovered and defused 11 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Kabul, Kunar, Kandahar and Logar provinces.

In the past 24 hours, ANP bomb disposal unit discovered & defused four Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Kabul, Kandahar & Faryab provinces.

Following a quick operative action, the police forces prevented the destruction of a power plant imported to Kabul in Khenjan district of Baghlan province. Taliban terrorists wanted to destroy this base by planting two mine rings under a base imported to Kabul.

Police have taken immediate action to prevent the destruction of a power pole in the Khinjan district of Baghlan province. The Taliban insurgents wanted to destroy Kabul by placing two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) under the transmission line.
