The Continuity IRA (CIRA) has claimed responsibility for an alleged attack on Enniskillen Police Station on Monday, and the planting of a suspicious device close to the station.
In a message phoned in to The Impartial Reporter today (Friday) at around lunchtime, a person claiming to be from the dissident Republican group also said that the alleged device that was reported on the Fermanagh/Cavan border was a “military diversion”.
The message claimed that on Sunday, March 14, North Fermanagh CIRA – on the direction of Continuity Army Council – carried out an attack on Enniskillen Police Station.
