This is the moment a huge suspected torpedo was blow up out at sea after being dragged in by small trawler boat in South Devon this afternoon.
The dramatic incident closed part of Brixham as the boat, skippered by Phil Spencer, brought back what is believed to be a torpedo from the sea floor just off the South Devon coast.
Police, The Royal Navy EOD and the coastguard team were all called in as the incident unfolded.
The item, which has also been described as a mine and a fuel tank, was caught in the net by the Stella Maris on its way to Brixham.
