Ukraine: Three children hospitalized after playing with explosive object in Melitopol district of Zaporizhia region


Three children were injured and hospitalized after playing with an explosive object and its further detonation in the Melitopol district of Zaporizhia region, one of the victims is in intensive care, the State Emergency Service has reported.

“In the village of Obilne, Melitopol District, three teenagers born in 2007, born in 2008, and born in 2009 found an explosive object and played with it, and an explosion occurred. The children were hospitalized. One of the teenagers is in intensive care,” the press service of the Service reported on Facebook on Thursday morning.

Rescuers are calling on parents to control the pastime of their children, and also remind them of the rules of conduct when explosive objects are found.
