Ukraine: Police detain two young men suspected of terrorist attack in Brovary


Police have detained two young men suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, on the orders of Russian secret services.

At 22:08 on 13 April, a report was received via the 102 emergency line about an explosion near a house. A man was injured by the blast wave. Police officers, first responders from the State Emergency Service, medics, bomb disposal experts and officers from the Security Service of Ukraine promptly arrived at the scene. The law enforcement officers followed standard procedures for terrorist threats: they cordoned off the area and warned residents about the risk of a second explosion.
