A suspected explosive shell has been found at a Cornwall beach.
St Agnes coastguards said they were alerted by lifeguards at Trevaunance Cove, near St Agnes, on Sunday. An armed forces explosive ordnance disposal team had been alerted and the object would be assessed “in due course”, coastguards said.
