Sections of the Miller & Carter steakhouse car park in Cannock have been shut following reports a hand grenade was found nearby.
Army explosive ordnance disposal experts launched an investigation after the discovery in Lichfield Road, Cannock just before 12:30 BST on Saturday. Access to the Mill Green and Hawks Green Valley nature reserve has been restricted, Staffordshire Police has warned.
