UK: Man jailed after explosives found at his Sunderland home


A North East man has been jailed after explosive substances were found in his home, after bomb experts called in to check them.

Andrew Tait, 42, was arrested when police attended his Pennywell Road home in Sunderland after being tipped off about explosive chemicals being kept at the address. On April 27, police executed a warrant and discovered quantities of 12 explosive substances along with 3D-printed knuckle dusters. The bomb squad also attended the property, but did not need to take any action.
