The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says explosives and bomb-making materials were discovered during the execution of a search warrant at a home in West Odessa.
According to DPS, its Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Ector County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3000 block of North Skylark Avenue.
During the search, investigators located explosives and bomb-making materials inside the home. Bomb squads from the Odessa Police Department, Midland Police Department and the FBI responded to the scene to assess the materials and safely render them harmless.
