Sweden: Two injured in Stockholm explosion


The alarm about a powerful explosion at an apartment building in Johanneshov in southern Stockholm came at 04:22 on Saturday morning. The shockwave blew out a large number of windows. Two people were lightly injured but did not require hospital care.

According to the police, there were 20 completed explosions in December – the highest number in a single month since November 2019 (22). During the first two weeks of the year, the police counted 11 explosions and 25 secured hazardous objects. Since then, there have been five more explosions, including tonight’s, according to TT’s information.
