Somalia: Three killed in IED blast outside Somali capital Mogadishu


Three people including a local administrator have been killed and two other people sustained injuries after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) suspected to have been on a road in Garasbaale village hit a vehicle.

Witnesses said unknown attackers had set the IED on the road which hit a speeding car carrying Abdirahman Ahmed Ali, head of Garasbalay.

This caused the vehicle to be badly damaged and burnt. The blast claimed the lives of Ali, and two other civilians.
