Somalia: Howlwadaag district explosion linked to Al-Shabaab amid security camera mandate

Al-Shabaab had issued threats against compliance with this government order, leading to the closure of several businesses. A spokesperson for Al-Shabaab has stated their intent to target businesses adhering to the government’s security measures. The installed cameras are intended to provide critical surveillance in key areas, aiding the government in gathering vital information and evidence.
