Somalia: Five killed in blasts in Mogadishu and Baidoa


At least five people have been killed and another one was injured in two separate blasts in Mogadishu and Baidoa town, officials and witnesses confirmed.

According to sources, two people were killed and another one was injured when a police car hit by improvised explosive device (IED) suspected to have been planted on a roadside in Hilwa district of Mogadishu. The car was extensively damaged by the IED blast.

The victims killed in the blast are said to be civilians. The attack also injured the driver of the car.
