An explosives-laden vehicle targeted President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s convoy in the central Somali town of Maxaas on Tuesday, officials have confirmed.
Security officials have confirmed that a suicide car bomb exploded as President Mohamud was returning from an address to local clan militia and government forces on the outskirts of Maxaas.
