Philippines: Man killed in IED blast at beach resort


A man was killed in a suspected improvised explosive device explosion inside a beach resort in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur at dawn on Tuesday, September 17.

Police are identifying the mangled victim whose body was reportedly cut in half. Lawmen found a totally wrecked motorcycle and a bag of ammonium nitrate in the area. A utility vehicle was spotted fleeing towards the direction of the Tukuran cemetery after the explosion.
