Authorities have seized an improvised explosive device (IED) and bomb-making components in Jolo, Sulu, the police reported Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Police Major Annidul Sali, Jolo police chief, said the IED and bomb-making components were recovered around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Bus-Bus village, Jolo.
Sali said that the presence of the IED and bomb-making components in an abandoned house at Sitio Barberohan, Bus-Bus village, was reported to them by a village official of the place.
