Pennsylvania: Bangor man who used drone to drop explosive devices sentenced to 5 years in prison

A Bangor man was sentenced Thursday for having homemade bombs and using a drone to drop explosive devices in Northampton County.

45-year-old Jason Muzzicato was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of supervised release for unlawfully possessing firearms and explosives, and using an unregistered drone aircraft to drop explosive devices in order to terrorize a former girlfriend, according to a Department of Justice news release.

Muzzicato pleaded guilty in December 2019 to possession of a destructive device, possession of firearms by a person subject to a domestic violence protective order, and knowingly operating an unregistered aircraft.
