Punjab Police claimed to have repelled an attack on the Chapri police station in Mianwali by terrorists, killing four terrorists.
A Punjab Police spokesperson said over 20 heavily armed militants launchesd the assault from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s border region, targeting the Chapri police station in Isa Khel Circle. The attack began with the terrorists firing rockets and hurling hand grenades at the police station. A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued between the attackers and police personnel, who defended the station valiantly.
