In a concerning development from Balochistan, eight security personnel sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack near the Takht area of District Kalat on Friday.
The incident occurred when an IED, planted on the roadside, detonated as a security forces vehicle passed by. The explosion resulted in minor injuries to the eight personnel aboard the vehicle. Deputy Commissioner Kalat, Bilal Shabbir, confirmed that the device was planted by unidentified individuals.
