Four people were killed and four others were injured in a roadside bomb blast on Wednesday in the Sharamkhel area of Pewar, Parachinar, in Upper Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), police said.
District Police Officer (DPO) Malik Habib confirmed the casualties and said a police team had launched an investigation at the site of the explosion. The blast occurred as the victims, along with their horses, were heading towards a nearby hill to collect firewood, according to Ghulam, one of the injured.
