A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a series of explosions in a southeast Salem neighborhood. The first explosion was reported on Wed., April 23 around 2:30 a.m.
According to the Salem police department, investigators found damage to a car from an improvised explosive device in the driveway of a home on the 5700 block of Woodside DR SE. Just two days later, another explosion was reported at the same house on April 25 just after 2 p.m. in the front yard. A third explosion was reported on April 28 just after 10 p.m. at the same house in the driveway. Patrol officers and the bomb squad identified 38-year-old Jason Douglas Kiser as the suspect.
