Police arrested a man on Tuesday after a massive police response at a Lyons home turned up “explosive-related activity,” according to the Toledo Police Department.
Law enforcement officials from numerous agencies were called out to the 600 block of N. Adrian Street in Lyons on Tuesday, TPD said. 13 Action News crews saw a heavy police presence that blocked off traffic for residents. An update from the Toledo Police Department said investigators found powders and chemicals, including thermite. There weren’t any improvised explosive devices on the property, so Bomb Squad cleared the scene, TPD said.
