Nigeria: Troops recover, destroy four IEDs in Borno


Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 202 Battalion, working alongside an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, have recovered and safely destroyed four improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted along a roadside in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

Security sources disclosed that the operation was carried out following intelligence provided by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) on May 6 about suspicious objects buried near a roadside in Juderi village.
