Niger’s defence and security forces announced that 45 terrorists were neutralised and 26 individuals were detained on suspicion of involvement or complicity with armed terrorist groups during air and ground operations carried out across the country.
In a statement, the Nigerien army said that firearms, quantities of ammunition, and other items belonging to the militants were seized during the operations against terrorist groups. It added that four improvised explosive devices were destroyed.
