A homemade bomb exploded on April 12 in Muse town in Northern Shan State, damaging a building and a parked car but no injuries were reported, police said. The explosion occurred near the Customs office, a police officer told The Myanmar Times.
“It is confirmed, office building was damaged and a car parked near the office was also damaged in the explosion,” the officer said. “Fortunately, no injuries as there were no people on the street,” he added, noting there was also restriction of movements of people in the town as part of measure to prevent COVID-19.
