Mali: 10th Chinese peacekeeping contingent holds joint training with Sri Lankan counterpart

To cope with the complicated security situation in the mission area, the 10th Chinese Peacekeeping Base Defense Unit to MINUSMA had a two-day joint training drill with the Sri Lankan peacekeeping Combat Convoy Company recently.

The two sides organized joint training on the search, detection, identification and disposal of improvised explosive device (IED) to improve their ability to perform peacekeeping tasks.
