Malaysia: Sabah police safely dispose of old bomb found in Kolombong

An old bomb found in Kampung Mengkadang in Kolombong here, which is believed to be still active, was disposed of by the police.

Villagers alerted the police after they discovered the object at around 10.30am on Thursday (Feb 4).

District police chief Assist Comm Habibi Majinji said a team from the state’s bomb disposal unit rushed to the scene.

“The bomb, believed to be still active, was then taken to the police shooting range in Lok Kawi to be disposed of.
