An improvised explosive device (IED) went off in front of a shop at Tiara Mutiara 1 off Jalan Puchong, Old Klang Road here.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the incident occurred at about 6am on Tuesday (May 2). “We discovered three PVC pipes which had been modified to be a bomb. Checks also discovered a remote IED,” he said in a statement.
