A drone was found Wednesday in a forest in northern Lithuania, likely crashed months ago, prompting authorities to activate a bomb-response plan and send bomb disposal experts to the site, police said.
The police later specified the drone appeared to have been used for smuggling and did not carry any explosives.
The drone was discovered at about 13:06 in a forest near Keneliai village in Pasvalys district, according to the Police Department.
