A Malayali ISIS terrorist had led the team that attacked the prison in Afghanistan on Sunday, say reports. According to Intelligence Bureau sources, Kasaragod native KP Ijaz led the fierce attack in a prison at the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad that killed at least 29 people incluing 10 terrorists.
The intelligence agencies under central government have started an investigation into the matter.
Earlier, in 2013, the Intelligence was informed that Ijaz was killed in a drone attack by the US in Afghanistan.
