A suspected IED exploded at the office of chief medical officer (CMO), Senapati around 9 pm Friday, suspected to be the work of some unknown miscreants. There were no reports of any injury or casualty.
The office of CMO, Senapati, Psokreho Psoze is located at the southern side of Senapati police station about a distance of 700 metres from it.
Police reported that the exploded bomb might be an improvised explosive device. The CMO office is made with galvanised zinc and wooden wall. Some furniture and the wooden wall were damaged.
