One of the two powerful IEDs planted by suspected militants went off in the outskirts of Manipur’s capital city, officials said on Tuesday.
A powerful IED planted by suspected militants went off at a fish shop at Khongman Zone-1 under Irilbung police station of Imphal East district around 11 pm on Monday.
Police said that there was no casualty in the blast. The impact, however, partially damaged the gate of the house of the shop owner and dug up medium size pitch. According to reports, suspected militants triggered the powerful IED at the fish shop belonging to Aribam Sashikumar adjacent to his house.
