India: Police seize potassium nitrate used in IED blasts


The special cell has found a large quantity of potassium nitrate, a key ingredient for making IEDs, in searches conducted after busting a terror module allegedly planning targeted killings and blasts.

Last week, Delhi Police, in coordination with central intelligence agencies, uncovered an ISIS-inspired terror module operating in the capital and arrested five persons. Among them was Danish, a suspect previously detained in Ranchi.
