India: Major Counter-Terror Raids in Kashmir Disrupt Militant Recruitment


In a major operation, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit raided six districts to dismantle a terrorist recruitment module tied to a group linked with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The move follows attacks which have heightened security concerns in the region, prompting calls for increased vigilance from J-K’s chief minister. In a sweeping action against terrorism, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) executed raids across six districts within the region on Tuesday morning, apprehending recruiters associated with the terror group Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim (TLM). This group, said to be an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, was orchestrated by a Pakistani handler known as Baba Hamas.
