The state govt approved Rs 9.89 crore for strengthening bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) capabilities across the state.
The approval includes the purchase of 10 liquid explosive detectors worth Rs 4.54 crore and 10 multi-functional electronic detection systems costing Rs 5.35 crore. The equipment will be procured by the Uttar Pradesh police security headquarters as per MSME norms and procurement rules.
