In a focused effort to strengthen India’s counter-insurgency and internal security operations, the Counter Explosive Device (CED) Unit of the Indian Army’s Eastern Command has successfully conducted a joint Training of Trainers (ToT) course on Counter-IED (Improvised Explosive Device) operations.
The course saw active participation from troops of both the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles, reinforcing operational synergy and inter-agency cooperation in the region. Held at a forward operational location, the rigorous training focused on providing advanced tactical skills and knowledge to detect, disrupt, and neutralize IED threats in high-risk zones.
