India: CoBRA commando injured in IED blast in Bijapur


A commando of the Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) was injured when a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by naxals exploded in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Friday, police said.

The blast occurred around 1 pm in the forest of Budgicheru village under Tarrem police station limits, where a team of the 210th battalion of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) was out on an anti-naxal operation, a senior official said.
